Build the First Finger of the Left Hand
Step 1
Lay out the finger components in the order to be used, as shown:
Step 2
Fit a Plastic Sleeve over the pin of a Finger Joint Connector…
… then slide it all through the joint of these two Finger Components, as shown.
Be sure these parts are aligned as you see here. This connector is not all the way in yet here:
Next, push the pin of a Finger Joint Connector Pin into the other side to finish the joint. Use super glue as needed.
I did not push this connector all the way through as I am about to use different joints (see Mod Zone below):
Steps 4-5
Repeat this process with the next Finger Components, but insert the Finger Joint Connector from the opposite side.
I did not complete these steps, see the Mod Zone below!
As I did with the right hand, I am replacing all of my finger joints with the Finger Mod from Model Modz:
You can check out my dedicated page on how this mod is installed HERE, but here is the modded finger for this issue:
Step 6
Super glue the finger tip (77-6) onto the oval post on the end of finger:
Thoughts
Honestly, I feel assembling the fingers of this T-800 are the worst part of the build. I don’t know how they could have done it better, but I find the process tedious. Only four more to go, ha!
