Fitting the Knee Cap and Knee Joint
Step 1
Apply a small amount of super glue to each of these four studs of one of the Joint Centre Parts:
Step 2
Fit the studs of the Joint Centre Part into the matching holes of the Knee Joint, as shown. It should sit flush and not rotate:
Steps 3-4
Apply a small amount of super glue to the two sockets of the Inner Right Knee Cap…
… then fit the posts of the Outer Right Knee Cap into these sockets, completing the Knee Cap assembly.
In the picture below, I have circled the tab and posts that we will be adding glue to in the next step:
Step 5-7
Apply a small amount of super glue to the tab and two posts on the back of the Knee Cap assembly as seen in the photo above.
Retrieve your Knee Joint assembly from the previous issue. Attach the Knee Cap assembly to the matching location on the front of the Knee Joint assembly, as shown:
Step 8
Fit the Knee Joint assembly built in this issue into the opening at the bottom of the assembly from the previous step, aligning the flat edge and tab to the matching slot, as shown:
Step 9
Secure the Knee Joints together with three (3) PM 3×6 mm screws:
Steps 10-11
Retrieve your T-800 endoskeleton and lay it face down on your work surface. Slide the post of the Tendon for Right Leg attached to the Knee Joint assembly into this cylinder installed back in Issue 57. At the same time, slide the Knee Joint assembly in between the ends of the Right Thigh, as shown:
Steps 12-13
Retrieve your Right Leg Joint assembly from Issue 60. The square tab will fit into this notch in the side of the Right Thigh:
Slide the Right Leg Joint flush into the opening, as shown:
Step 14
Retrieve the Right Leg Joint assembly from Issue 59. Slide this Right Leg Joint flush into the opening on the other side of the Right Thigh:

Using the supplied Allen Key tool with Issue 26 to tighten one (1) PM 3×12 mm Allen screw through the Right Leg Joints, as shown.
The tighter this screw, the stiffer the joint will be:
Thoughts
Our T-800 has his first knee! The right thigh looks great and I love all the muscle details.
