Build
Left Shoulder Details
Step 1
Cut the Left Shoulder Accessory and Left Shoulder Accessory Cap from the sprue and sand any rough edges:
Step 2
After test-fitting, apply super glue to the recesses on the back of the Left Shoulder Accessory Cap and secure it into the Left Shoulder Accessory, as shown:
Step 4
Retrieve the Left Shoulder assembly from Issue 31. The slot in the Left Shoulder Accessory assembly fits over this tab:
Step 5
Apply super glue to the tab, and secure the Left Shoulder Accessory assembly to the Left Shoulder, as shown:
Step 6
Take the Left Shoulder Insert and apply a little super glue to the raised posts:
Step 7
Secure this insert to the Left Shoulder End Piece as shown, aligning the posts to the holes:
Step 8
On the Left Shoulder assembly, take note of the two mounting points as well as this tab:
Step 9
Align the notch of the Left Shoulder End Piece to the tab on the Left Shoulder assembly, and secure with two (2) PM 3×6 screws:
Thoughts
The Left Shoulder assembly is complete for now. We did not use the Thoracic Vertebra End Piece in this issue, so put it safely aside until the next issue. I noticed that we have installed 100 screws so far in this build. This may seem like a lot, but if we consider that my Eaglemoss 1:8 scale Back to the Future DeLorean build was at 100 screws by Issue 10, we have it pretty easy here. Heck, by the same issue (33) of the DeLorean, it had over 330 screws installed.
